The days are over when people used to look through a textbook. The museum was founded in 1970, and it’s brought life to learning since then, with hundreds of interactive technologies, awesome artifacts, and experiential exhibits. They’re really bringing science to life in this place. It’s one of the best places to take your family and really enjoy science. It piques the interest of learning about science for your whole family.

The museum was intended to be a place that would inspire curiosity and inquiry. They have permanent exhibitions on the earth, electricity, health, and space, to name but a few. They have exhibitions that appeal to everyone. They have exhibitions that round out the whole science experience.

They also have a theater company, a number of live animals, a rat basketball team, a Foucault Pendulum, and a huge moveable kugel ball. They have the largest IMAX screen in Virginia. This gives you a truly immersive experience.

This isn’t the typical science museum that you were familiar with growing up. This is an all-new take on the science museum. It actually makes science interesting and fun.

Are you a science nerd? Then, you have to check out the Science Museum of Virginia. It’s the one place in Virginia that the science nerd can really feel at home. It’s not all true what they say about Virginians being backward! The science museum has been called a lot of things, like out of sight, astronomical, and electrifying. Displays at the museum have themes of crystals, computers, physical science, optical illusions, astronomy, and electricity. It’s definitely the place to be if you’re serious about seeing some cool, snazzy stuff in snazzy displays.

The Virginia Science Museum has been renowned and reported upon for its snazzy displays, and they do a good job of getting science out to the public, and making it interesting to children. This is truly a place where you can enjoy science with your children. It’s not a stodgy old building with bunk scientific artifacts.
