Sunday, February 21, 2:00PM The Jack and Jill Richmond Chapter is joining the nation to celebrate the TWENTY-FIRST NATIONAL AFRICAN AMERICAN READ-IN. We will have an African American Author, Charisse Carney-Nunes, to read to our Jack and Jill's and children of the community. Charisse is the author of the children books I AM BARACK OBAMA (2009); I DREAM A WORLD FOR YOU: A COVENANT FOR OUR CHILDREN (2007); and NAPPY (2006),

The event will be held at the East District Family Resource Center

Richmond, VA 23223 US. Elementary children are invited. High School stundents are invited to read to the younger children.
